A Local Land Charges search is a statutory procedure which needs to be carried out as part of any HIP pack. The Land Charges Department will complete a search of the Local Land Charges Register which will reveal any planning, environmental or financial restrictions (known as charges) on the land or property in question.
We offer both full official Land Charges searches and personal searches and our web pages will tell you more about the options available.
